Yummy Eats Baon Blowout

The new school year is about to start and there’s no better way to welcome it than having  this year’s most awaited annual food fair from Yummy Magazine and Yummy.ph, Yummy Eats Baon Blowout.  Yummy Magazine, the country’s number 1 food magazine in the country, and Yummy.ph gave everyone a delightful whole-day food affair with 32 Yummy-approved concessionaires at Glorietta Activity Center from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

“As the new school year draws near, we at Yummy aim to make preparing recess and lunch for the kids as easy as possible. We know it can be tough to come up with new ideas for every day of the week, but we want to show everyone that it’s not as difficult as it seems.” said Paulynn Chang-Afable, editor-in-Chief of Yummy magazine. “This is why we’re dedicating 2016’s Yummy Eats to everything baon-related—from ready-to-eat goodies you can pack in lunchboxes to packaged items you can quickly cook on the stove. What’s more, with make-ahead dishes, one-bowl meals, and easy-to-eat snacks, we’ve also devoted our June issue to making baon prep as easy as possible. June is a big month of us—and we do everything we do because it’s our mission to bring our readers easy meals every day.”

The 6th annual YUMMY EATS event featured fun and easy baon ideas, products perfect for baon, and baon-making workshops. More than 1,000 participants, majority of which are mommies with their families in tow, rushed to event to get baon ideas as well as cooking and food preparation tips from special guest chefs. Guest chefs included Trixie Mendoza, Yummy.ph’s Managing Editor, who demonstrated “Baon-making with kids” with her niece, and Chef Len Santos-Ding of Feed 5000 and Yummy Magazine’s contributor, who whipped up a few recipes in “Cooking a Healthy Baon.”
