Summit OOH, the billboards and out-of-home business division of Summit Media, introduces exciting new platforms to its repertoire. Advertisers will now be able to harness the power of transit ads, a bigger digital ad network, and ambient advertising via Cebu Pacific Air to bring their message to a captive audience.

Summit OOH's transit ad offerings include bus ads, jeepney ads, and roving ads.
“Transit advertising reaches a wider audience on the move on a consistent basis, all-day round,” Summit Billboards and OOH Head Norman de Leon explains. “Transit ads are very effective for ad campaigns that require quick response and suit ads with call-to-action messages. Just like billboards, you cannot turn off or avoid transit ads, especially those that are eye-catching and colorful. Furthermore, these bus ads are on the road at an average of 18 to 20 hours a day.”
Summit OOH’s transit ads will encompass advertising in buses (full wrap and full rear), jeepneys (roof ads or any special executions), taxis (sunvisors, rear sunvisors, or roof ads), and tricycles (rear tarp, rear stickers, or rear stickers with top load).
Summit OOH plans to expand operations of transit ads in the coming months. “Aside from Metro Manila, where almost 95% of bus ad placements are located, we are now starting to entertain ad inquiries for buses on provincial routes going to the North (Ilocos) and to the South (Naga),” De Leon shares. “Soon, we will also cover the Visayas and Mindanao areas.”

Summit Digital Ad Network's LCD displays are situated in high-traffic buildings that attract as many as 6,000 people a day.
Meanwhile, the Summit TV Digital Ad Network, a fleet of LCD displays strategically positioned in high-traffic buildings, will expand to cover 30 more commercial buildings within major business districts like Makati, Ortigas Center, and The Fort in Taguig in the next six months. At present, it is installed in five high-rise buildings: Robinsons Cybergate 1, 2, and 3 in Pioneer St., Mandaluyong City; Robinons Summit Center in Ayala Ave., Makati City; and Robinsons Equitable Tower in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

Advertisers can take advantage of non-traditional spaces such as airplane body, overhead bins, and tray tables to promote their brands.
Another promising offering from Summit OOH is ambient advertising, done in partnership with Cebu Pacific Air. Beginning July 2011, Summit OOH will sell ambient ads in relevant media or non-traditional spaces provided by Cebu Pacific Air, such as thermal boarding passes, motion sickness bags, table napkins, paper cups, airplane body wrap, tray tables, and overhead bins.
In its commitment to become the country’s top out-of-home advertising operator, Summit OOH will roll out more platforms in the next year, including massive wall sticker ads or building wraps and the first Summit LED digital board along EDSA or C5.
