
Once again, Summit Media is the market leader in newsstand sales in all categories, according to the 2005 TNS-Trends Newsstand Survey [Adobe Acrobat Reader required]. This is the sixth year in a row that Summit has achieved this.
From September 19 to October 3, TNS-Trends, the leading customized marketing research company in the Philippines, visited 150 newsstands in Metro Manila to determine "how many copies of the last issue of the magazine were sold in the last 30 days."
From fashion/beauty to shelter to celebrity to automobile, Summit magazines lead the pack. In 13 categories, Summit magazines have the majority share of the market. Notably, Preview, Seventeen, Good Housekeeping, Smart Parenting and YES! have also increased its market shares versus last year.
