brandedcontent_2_5.jpgSummit Media strengthens its position as the leading magazine publisher in the Philippines as it blazes the trail for the latest marketing craze: branded content.

Branded content blends an advertiser’s message into a magazine’s editorial to create a product that is a fusion of beautifully written content and helpful advertiser information.

“Branded content is advertising that is relevant, created so that they are useful to our readers,” says Florence Magno, Group Advertising Director for Summit Media. “Readers appreciate the advertising because we integrate their message into the product in a very seamless manner.”

Summit Media’s creative minds can whip up bookazines, supplements, mini-magazines, and other special executions that flawlessly meld an advertiser’s brand and values into the magazine’s pages.

For instance, Real Living Magazine created Real Color Ideas, a bookazine that featured ACE Hardware’s branded paints. Yummy partnered with Maggi Magic Sarap to come up with back-to-school recipes especially for the magazine’s “Baon Special.” Goldilocks approached two Summit titles, Martha Stewart Weddings Philippines and Preview, to present their breathtaking made-to-order wedding cakes. Preview also created a supplement for Samsung to promote the brand’s newly launched Ultra Touch mobile phone. K-Zone came up with a “Fun Book” that highlighted exclusive brands available at Toys R Us. Fresher Feminine Wash’s three variants were displayed prominently in the Total Girl Slambook.
