SPOT.ph, together with Summit Books, launched the Top 10 Everything Food Lists 2014. This ultimate food guide features this year’s list of defending winners, as well as new front runners in giving you the tastiest eats in Metro Manila. “SPOT.ph has been ranking Top 10 Food Lists for several years now. In the past two years, it’s become all the more important to separate the best from the rest. We estimated that at least 100 restaurants opened in 2013 alone. Our lists help readers navigate through the labyrinth of food that’s become Manila’s restaurant scene,” says SPOT.ph Top 10 Everything Food Lists 2014 book editor Sasha Lim Uy

This January, food lovers satisfied their taste buds as SPOT.ph held its Top 10 Food Awards that showcased the 50 No. 1 establishments from the 2014 list--among these are Wild Flour Cafe + Boulangerie, Chez Karine, House of Lasagna, Liloan’s Pride, Mamou, Modern Shanghai, Saboten, and The Snack Shack.

“Twenty-four of the lists were updated from the previous book, and while we have some ‘defending’ No. 1’s, we’re going to see a lot of newcomers. It really tells you how rapid the landscape is changing,” says Sasha. “Tonight, we geared our bellies for this huge eating spree!” she continues. Truly, the SPOT.ph Top 10 Food Awards was an event filled with gastronomic delights that proved why they earned their No. 1 spot for 2014.
