This July, Real Living is getting a makeover—new look, same great inspiration. The new design marks Real Living’s 10 years of style and design inspiration, refreshing home-improvement ideas, and creative decorating tips.
“Much like our readers renovate their space, we’ve given Real Living a top-to-bottom makeover—from a hearty new masthead and tempting typography to increased shopping content, expert advice, style tips, and of course, more beautiful homes every issue,” says Real Living associate publisher Tom Castañeda. “Expect a fresher, more beautiful and practical home magazine this time around,” adds Real Living editor-in-chief Rachelle Medina. “It’s still like the Real Living you’ve always loved, but better!”
Real Living kicks off its anniversary with a special editorial roundup of the best home trends, as seen in the magazine in the last 10 years, in Get Inspired: A Decade of Trends. Also this month, be wowed as seven designers use their imagination to transform old and hopeless home items into impressive and unexpected furniture pieces in 10 Designer Mini-Makeovers.
To commemorate its 10 year milestone, Real Living also shines a spotlight on the readers’ biggest home and maintenance queries—everything from appropriate color palettes to selecting bed linens to key renovation techniques. Real Living’s interior designer pros even share their own time-tested tips and tricks in 50 Answers to 50 Home Questions.

We may have gotten a new look, but one thing hasn’t changed: Real Living is still your interior designer friend who’s always at your side to inspire and help you out.
