Pop Fiction, Summit Books’ newest chick lit imprint, brings to Filipino book lovers another tale of young love that is guaranteed to tug at more heartstrings than ever.
Hitting bookstores nationwide this weekend is Three Words, Eight Letters, Say It, and I’m Yours, the book adaptation of the online story of the same name by Jade Margarette Pitogo.
Three Words, Eight Letters has long been a favorite among readers of social writing site Wattpad, where the author first posted it under the pseudonym Girl in Love. It tells the story of Chanel, a girl who seems to have the perfect life until her childhood sweetheart cheats on her, her best friend turns on her, and her family’s business almost goes bankrupt. Throughout her ordeal, only the brooding heartthrob Kean stands by her, but challenges continue to threaten to keep them apart.
Three Words, Eight Letters is the second release from Pop Fiction after Operation: Break the Casanova’s Heart by Aly Almario a.k.a. Alyloony, which hit shelves just last month. Spurred by the success of She’s Dating the Gangster—the first online story published by Summit Books that has gone on to become a national bestseller—Pop Fiction was established in August with the aim of bringing works by online writers to a bigger book-reading audience.
Grab a copy of Three Words, Eight Letters, Say It, and I’m Yours, available this weekend in bookstores nationwide for only P175! Get to meet Jade Margarette Pitogo at her book launch and signing at the Summit Media booth of the Manila International Book Fair, happening on September 14, Saturday, 1pm-3pm at the SMX Convention Center.
