FHM, the Philippines’ number one men’s magazine and the best-selling glossy in the country, unleashes its 100th issue this November 2008. To celebrate the important milestone, the guys of FHM are churning out hundreds of treats that will make readers look forward to a hundred more issues to come.

fhm_logo.jpg“Since it’s FHM’s 100th issue, the features found inside the magazine also revolve around ‘100’,” FHM Philippines Associate Publisher Chad Rosario reveals. The FHM team has prepared definitive lists of the one hundred best movies, best albums, best singles, best TV shows, must read books, coolest gadgets, essential fashion tips, and indispensable man lessons. Of course, it wouldn’t be FHM without the naughty stuff, so expect 100 vital sex tips to complete the roundup.

FHM has grown leaps and bounds since its first issue came out in March 2000. The FHM team was able to successfully localize the popular UK brand to suit the tastes and preferences of the Filipino male and continues to do so by producing well-written feature stories, maintaining informative yet funny sections, and choosing the hottest females to grace its pages month after month.

“To this date, FHM still lives up to its mission of being every man’s ultimate ‘pare’,” Rosario says.

After the release of this milestone issue, the FHM team has no plans of resting on their laurels. Readers can expect increased engagement and interaction in the future through more FHM activities and promos. Rosario also promises that there will be girls, girls, and more girls. Hooray!

“More than just an achievement, our 100th issue serves as a re-affirmation of our commitment to our readers. It commemorates not only the 100 issues we’ve released but the experiences we’ve shared with our fans and readers in the span of those 100 issues. Every time we get that nostalgic feeling, we’re reminded of our humble beginnings and how much FHM has grown,” Rosario shares.

Grab a copy of FHM’s 100th issue in newsstands and bookstores in November. Bet you can’t wait to find out who the cover girl is.
