Nanay CoringNanay Coring, an inspirational book that tells the life story of National Book Store’s Soccoro Ramos, was launched last October 8 at National Book Store, Greenlanes Arcade, Greenhills Shopping Center. Written to encourage children to go for their dreams, Nanay Coring talks about how a simple girl from the province became the owner of the largest bookstore chain in the country.

Published by Dream Big Books, Nanay Coring is the latest addition to its collection of inspirational stories that aims to motivate children to do their best and help change the world for the better. Nanay Coring teaches children that with strong family values, hard  work, and determination, anything is possible.

Written by Yvette Fernandez and illustrated by Liza Flores, Nanay Coring journeys back to the time when National Book Store was just a small shop that sold pens, pencils, paper, candies, and soap during the Japanese occupation. The book narrates how "Nanay Coring" and her husband managed to withstand the challenges they had to face in order to realize their dream of educating young Filipino minds.

A very inspiring tale, Nanay Coring imparts wise and practical tips on how one can succeed both in life and in business.

A portion of the sales of Nanay Coring will be donated to the National Book Store Foundation, Inc. Its goal is to promote the love of reading and learning among Filipino children across the country through various projects such as mobile libraries and book and school supplies donation programs.
Nanay Coring is available in newsstands, bookstores, and supermarkets nationwide for only P125. For more details, visit www.summitmedia.com.ph/books or visit Summit Books on Facebook via www.facebook.com/summitbooks.
