There’s no better time for kids to explore what’s out there than in the summertime! To get them in the mood for challenge and adventure, this month, Summit Media’s Disney magazines burst with the promise of exciting outdoor experiences and the lessons to be learned along the way.

This May, Frozen: The Official Magazine takes readers on summertime excursions in Arendelle, the magical land popularized by the Academy Award-winning Disney movie. Comics illustrate all the fun things Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven enjoy when the sun is out and temperatures are high, while interactive games, challenges, and activities make readers feel like they’re part of the Frozen gang’s warm-weather adventures. The May issue also encourages readers to get crafty, with cut-it-yourself poster puzzles painting a charming picture of summer in Arendelle and easy-to-make projects letting readers bring Arendelle’s allure into their everyday lives.

Like Frozen, Sofia the First’s May offering also brings out the adventurer in its young, curious readers. The magazine based on the Disney Junior TV series about the young princess of Enchancia is all about outdoor escapades this month, as Sofia heads off to Camp Wilderwood—the same camp her father, King Roland, attended as a boy. Besides being treated to thrilling tales of Sofia’s adventures at camp, readers get to pick up valuable lessons and form important attitudes: learning to love new places, developing an appetite for novel experiences, and making friends in unexpected situations.

The local editions of Disney’s Frozen and Sofia the First magazines are published monthly by Summit Media. They are available in bookstores, newsstands, and toy stores nationwide for only P125.
