Let your creativity run free with Summit Books’ newest imprint, Berry Books!
Berry Books offers do-it-yourself arts and crafts books, perfect for teens and tweens who wish to explore their budding artistic sides. With free materials bundled in each book, Berry Books are affordably priced—a real treat to start youngsters off on their journey to creative self-expression.
Berry Books’ first release, The Friendship Bracelet Book, tackles that enduring symbol of youthful camaraderie. “Friendship bracelets were a fad in past decades, and recently they’ve been making a comeback,” Berry Books Publisher Christine Ko observes.
The Friendship Bracelet Book features 30 bracelet designs in three difficulty levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. It comes with free thread in 10 colors at two yards each to get the readers started. Once they get the bracelet-making basics down pat, there’s no end to the colors and patterns they can play with!
Berry Books launched The Friendship Bracelet Book in March, just in time for summer. “Friendship bracelet-making is something kids can do during summer break,” Ko suggests. “For the more enterprising kids, they can make bracelets and sell them to earn a little summer money.”
The Friendship Bracelet Book is available in bookstores and newsstands nationwide for only P150.
Also in the pipeline for Berry Books are handy how-to guides on nail art and tie-dye.
