Summit Media strengthens its standing as the country’s leading magazine publisher as its titles once again lead in their categories in the TNS-Trends Newsstand Survey for 2012.

The results of the nationwide survey show that Summit continues to dominate in 13 categories; namely, fashion, celebrity, men’s lifestyle, men’s active lifestyle, men's luxury, women’s active lifestyle, shelter, home and family, parenting, automotive, luxury, food, and teens.

For this study, 350 magazine-selling newsstands in key cities all over the Philippines were surveyed from November 3 to December 3, 2012. To serve as a sample of the country’s universe of magazine-selling newsstands, 190 outlets were surveyed in Metro Manila, 50 in Luzon, 70 in Visayas, and 40 in Mindanao.

The question posed to magazine sellers was, “How many copies were sold in this period?” The table below shows the resulting market shares of the following Philippine magazines.
