Tisha Alvarez

 

Good Housekeeping, the country’s no. 1 family and home magazine, is pleased to welcome Tisha Alvarez Angluben as its new acting Editor-in-Chief.  She has worked as the Managing Editor of Real Living since 2005 and was responsible for many of the very popular makeovers regularly done by the magazine.  Previously, she was part of the Marketing and Coummnications Staff of SGV&Co.

For her part, Tisha says, she wants to “Good Housekeeping to continue to be a reliable magazine that gives loads of useful information and some inspiration, all with the goal of helping make life easier, happier, better for the modern Pinay.”  She promises an exciting new look and more pages of exciting and actionable ideas for the Good Housekeeping reader in the coming months.

 

 

Yvette Fernandez

 

 

Yvette Fernandez is Town & Country’s new Editor-in-Chief.  Formerly at Bloomberg News where she was an editor and writer for MUSE Arts and Culture, Yvette is excited to be back in Manila after 18 years in New York.  She also has a Masters degree in Journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

Her goal for the magazine which is Summit’s first luxury title is “to continue to cover stories that are important to our audience of affluent, accomplished women of substance and style.  Pieces on family, home, entertaining, celebrations, art, theater, music, travel, fashion and beauty. Stories about what we can do with the rewards of hard work: where to shop, how to invest, where to eat and drink, where to travel for relaxation.”  Monique Villonco, Town & Country’s former Editor-in-Chief, will stay on as editorial consultant to the magazine.
