YES!’ year-starter issue goes into 4th reprint!

YES! is off to a record start in 2009! After three reprints of its January 2009 issue featuring TV personality Willie Revillame on the cover, YES! reprints another 15,000 copies to appease the overwhelming demand for the magazine, bringing the total circulation up to an all-time high of 215,000.

In the January 2009 issue, controversial figure Willie Revillame, who is known to shy away from lengthy interviews, welcomes YES! into not one, but four of his posh estates situated in upscale neighborhoods in Tagaytay Highlands, Corinthian Hills, Ferndale Homes, and Capitol Golf Hill. Willie also welcomes the YES! team aboard two of his yachts and shows them six of his luxury cars, further proof of the TV host’s expensive tastes. But Willie doesn’t just open his doors to YES!; he opens up by giving them a candid account of what it’s like to be Willie Revillame both on- and off-cam, generously recounted in 48 pages of precious editorial space.

According to YES! Team Publisher Danio Caw, the January 2009 issue was sold out soon after it hit the shelves, prompting Summit Media to supplement the original 135,000 copies they had originally printed. After three reprints brought the circulation up to 200,000, orders still kept coming in. On January 21, 2009, Summit Media decided to release another 15,000 copies of the issue.
