FHM unveils beauty queen Danielle Castaño and former Starstruck Avenger Jade Lopez on the cover

This February, FHM serves a double delight by featuring two of the newest Viva Entertainment talents on the cover: Miss World 2008 representative Danielle Castaño and former Starstruck Avenger Jade Lopez. Both make their sexy and daring debuts on the cover of FHM in metal-spiked bikinis.

Unlike other beauty queens, Danielle maintains a very athletic lifestyle. “I was into track and field and cross-country racing when I was younger… [and] I do boxing as well. I also do Muay Thai… [and] played volleyball when I was younger. I was really athletic when I was young and no one can take that side of me away,” she tells FHM.

But being the athletic type did not keep Danielle from winning the Binibining Pilipinas 2008 pageant. “[It] was my first pageant. I didn’t really plan on joining. When I came home in 2007, I was supposed to just visit my mom and my family,” says Danielle, sharing that her plans changed when she met Jonas Gaffud of Mercator. “They trained me for it [and] I learned a lot of things from them... And then, yeah…I won, ha ha!”

Former Starstruck Avenger Jade Lopez also makes a comeback under the spotlight by finally unraveling the sexy and daring side of her. “I’m a completely different person when I’m in front of the camera. I feel sexy and hot, which I really don’t feel when I’m not in front of the lens,” Jade tells FHM. 

After securing her college degree in Psychology, Jade is now ready for anything that comes her way. She tells FHM, “I figured studying human behavior might help me improve my craft… Right now, I really want to pursue acting, which is my passion, [and] I really want to try things out in showbiz again. Kung para sa akin, para sa akin. Kung hindi, I have options in the corporate world.”
