FHM and K-Zone go 3D this August!
July 28, 2010

Step aside,
Avatar. There’s a new 3D sensation in town, and it’s coming to newsstands and bookstores in August 2010!
The country’s leading men’s monthly
FHM and biggest kids’ magazine
K-Zone are coming out with
special 3D issues in August.
FHM and
K-Zone will both contain pages rendered in three dimensions and will come with 3D glasses, giving readers a richer, fuller, and more astounding visual experience.
FHM is the first local men’s mag to bring 3D imaging to their pages. “We wanted to bring novelty back into the magazine by offering a creative selling proposition—3D,”
FHM Associate Publisher Chad Rosario shares. Fans of
FHM will be delighted to know that the country’s hottest babes, including
Jackie Rice, Angelica Panganiban, Cristine Reyes, and 2010 FHM Philippines’ Sexiest Angel Locsin, will be given the 3D treatment, letting readers see them in an exciting new dimension.
“There are only a few types of publications that 3D could work well on. Fortunately, a lad’s mag that offers a host of babes happens to be one of them,” Rosario adds.
Meanwhile,
K-Zone is no stranger to 3D, having produced a few depth-enhanced pages in its May 2006 issue. But this time around, the kids’ magazine will feature a whopping 39 pages in 3D. “We figured that we did it before when 3D wasn’t the in thing, we should do it again now that it’s hot,”
K-Zone Team Publisher Christine Ko reveals.
Cool
K-Zone sections such as
KNN, Heat List, Did You Know?, Spotlight featuring
Pokemon A to Z, and
Flick Pick featuring
Cats & Dogs 2: The Revenge of Kitty Galore will all be given that view-tastic 3D treatment, sure to delight kids young and old.
Advertisers can also grab this excellent opportunity to put their brand in the spotlight. With attractive three-dimensional ads, clients are sure to catch the reader’s attention—and hold it. For inquiries, please contact your designated
