StyleBible.ph gets a new look
July 21, 2010
The Philippines’ online style authority just got a sleek makeover.
StyleBible.ph, leading fashion magazine
Preview’s home on the web, now sports a crisp, clean, and no-nonsense look. The new design aims the spotlight on the site’s most popular sections and facilitates browsing through its plethora of sartorial treats. The revamped StyleBible.ph was launched at the
Preview Best Dressed Ball on July 3, 2010 at Republiq in Resort World, Pasay City.
“The new design focuses on navigability and really streamlining things to give readers an easier browsing experience,” StyleBible.ph Managing Editor Isha Andaya says. “We've recategorized certain sections and highlighted others to improve article visibility and assist readers in their search for certain topics.”
StyleBible.ph now bears a second navigation bar with shortcuts to the website’s most loved sections to allow users easy access to their favorite features. The site also boasts of a special index for
photo galleries, making viewing more convenient for visitors who are simply there for the abundance of
fashion,
beauty,
runway,
party, and
Preview behind-the-scenes snapshots. Photos and thumbnail images themselves are larger, heightening the visual online experience only StyleBible.ph can deliver.
Some of the site’s sections have been given an upgrade, too.
Style Star carries a new format that lets readers browse through photos and vote more easily.
The Mall, the site’s virtual shopping bazaar, has also undergone a redesign. In StyleBible.ph’s continuing effort to promote local fashion and beauty savants,
Designer Spotlight articles are now displayed prominently in both the home index and the fashion index, while the new section
Beauty Insider makes its debut.
StyleBible.ph's spiffy new sheen sure seems to have helped spike up the site's stats--from June 20 to July 20, 2010, StyleBible.ph garnered
4,708,258 pageviews and
76,963 unique visits.
“We're working on championing Filipino talent and being a world-class website is just part of that plan,” Andaya concludes.
