Summit Media Magazines top Synovate Nationwide Urban Media Survey

According to the most recent Synovate Media Atlas survey of viewership habits, Summit Media had the top four among the most-read locally published magazines in the country. Synovate interviewed 8 ,000 people across all economic classes in Luzon using a phone-based method in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao from November 13, 2008 to May 16, 2009. The sample was a representative of the country’s population.
The top four were:
FHM Philippines with 1,070,484 monthly readers
YES! Magazine with 667,145 monthly readers
Cosmopolitan Magazine with 618,241 monthly readers
Good Housekeeping Magazine with 421,275 monthly readers
FHM leads all print media In terms of sheer readership,
FHM Philippines and
YES! showed numbers higher than the average weekday readership of the
Philippine Daily Inquirer (with 632,000 readers) and the
Philippine Star (with 538,000 readers).
Cosmopolitan showed higher numbers than the
Philippine Star (with 538,000 readers) and the
Manila Bulletin (with 468,000 readers).

Total Magazine Readership UpAccording to the Synovate survey, total magazine readership is up from 4.18 million readers to 4.307 million from the last Synovate survey which was conducted from February 16, 2008 to January 16, 2009.
